About Us
The City of Ulysses Animal Control Division is committed to protecting public safety, promoting responsible pet ownership, and ensuring the humane treatment of animals within the community. Animal Control works to enforce city ordinances related to animals while supporting the operation of the City’s animal shelter.
The Animal Control Officer responds to animal-related concerns, assists residents with ordinance compliance, and helps ensure the safety of both people and animals throughout Ulysses. Services include responding to complaints, addressing stray and nuisance animals, and coordinating shelter intake when necessary.
Animal Control also serves as a resource for residents by providing information related to animal ordinances, licensing requirements, and responsible pet care. Through enforcement, education, and community cooperation, the City of Ulysses strives to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all.
