About Parks & Recreation
The City of Ulysses Parks & Recreation Department is committed to maintaining safe, welcoming, and well-maintained public spaces that enhance quality of life for residents and visitors. Our parks serve as gathering places for recreation, community events, and everyday enjoyment, supporting both active lifestyles and family-friendly experiences.
The City oversees multiple park facilities, including playgrounds, picnic areas, walking paths, open green space, and recreational amenities such as the Frazier Park Disc Golf Course. These spaces are maintained year-round to ensure accessibility, safety, and enjoyment for all ages.
In addition to daily maintenance, the Parks & Recreation Department supports park reservations, community partnerships, and seasonal improvements that help keep Ulysses’ public spaces vibrant and well cared for.
Residents are encouraged to enjoy the parks responsibly and to report maintenance concerns or safety issues so they can be addressed promptly.
Please enjoy the parks and recreation areas of the City of Ulysses! With spring comes the beauty of all the colorful flowers and greenery that our community parks have to offer us. Each year, for the past 10 years, the Girl Scouts volunteer to plant flowers at Memorial Park and the past 2 years at Centennial Square. Thank you for helping make our gardens so beautiful!
