If you are having trouble with sewer back up, please call the City Shop first during normal business hours at (620) 356-1271.

After hours, please contact the Ulysses Police Department at (620) 356-3500.

This will help to prevent any unnecessary plumbing charge expense for you. The City is not responsible for paying the plumbing bill.

Tips to help prevent sewer back up:

• Do not pour cooking grease into the drain, pour it into a metal can and throw it away.
• Do not pour leftover cleaners, paints, oils, and chemical down the drain. Please dispose of them properly.
• Keep papers (except for toilet paper), feminine products and other objects out of the toilet. Use the trash can for those items.
